Hello! I’m Connie:

For over 20 years, I have been coaching students and young adults to develop confidence and reach their goals.
I received my Masters in Counseling from University of New Mexico in 1997, with a dual emphasis in school and agency counseling.
Prior to that I earned a BA in Dance from University of Washington, with an interest in psychology and mind-body wellness.
My work experience includes dance education, wellness, running my own small business, web design, and Executive Director of a local non-profit.
This work taught me practical skills in marketing, organization, development, communication, hiring, and networking.
To further my academic and career coaching knowledge, I received my California Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) in School Counseling in 2015, and Certificate of College Admissions Counseling (UC Riverside) in 2016.
This continuing education provided me invaluable tools for my own children’s college and career journey, and I also began to help others navigate this often overwhelming time.
That was the beginning of Paths Coaching.
For the past few years, I have also provided volunteer services to middle and high schools, focusing on both students’ academic and social-emotional wellness.
I have experience helping students and adults through:
- academic advising
- career guidance
- exploring college choice
- college application process
- building and writing resumes
- cover letters
- interview skills
- marketing
- tutoring
- organization skills
- schoolwork management
- wellness tools and reducing stress
If you are curious how I can help you on your path, please contact me to join my email newsletter or request a free 30 minute phone consultation.
